Karim Awad attended Notre Dame de Jamhour until 1983 and graduated from the Lycée Janson de Sailly in Paris in 1987. Karim holds an Engineering degree and an MBA, respectively, from The Catholic University of America and the American University both in Washington DC. He pursued a five-year career in management consulting with Accenture, and became involved in Asset Management in 2000. He is an alternative investments specialist; he founded Edgemore Capital in 2006.

Edgemore Capital is an independently owned Asset Management firm that specializes in Alternative Investments. Services include a Money Management function, and the provision of tailor-made portfolio solutions for individual and institutional clients. Our Venture Capital investments target seed and early stage technology companies.
Karim has been on the board of the Jamhour Alumni US committee since 2004.
