Carine Assouad is the co-founder and Managing Director of Semsom Eatery. Along with her sister, she expanded the Beirut born restaurant chain and currently runs its operations in the US. Before joining Semsom, Carine worked as a strategy consultant at Arthur D. Little Paris and at the Boston Consulting Group in Paris and NY. She became a member of the Bruce Henderson Institute that leads BCG’s business thinking in strategy, organization, change and performance.
Carine holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design from the American University of Beirut and a Master in Management from HEC Paris.
She is a 2001 Notre Dame de Jamhour alumna and a member of the JAUS board since 2015.
